CLIENT ENGAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

Jake has led HIT projects for some of the leading healthcare providers in their respective industry segments. Examples include:

Home Health - Selected by a large regional health system to evaluate their current business requirements in order to replace their legacy homecare management system and integrate into their telemonitoring system. Led the organization through an extensive software vendor selection and contract negotiation process. New system was successfully implemented within six months.

Engaged with a multi-office home health agency (serving over 3,000 patients) to lead company-wide project to implement a new homecare management system including Point-of-Care and integrated telemonitoring. The project included extensive process re-engineering and change management.

Provided strategic consulting services to a national home health organization with offices in 20 states. The primary purpose for the engagement was to improve workforce management and communication with over 12,000 caregivers. Working with several vendor partners including Sprint, the project ultimately concluded with the successful deployment of a newly developed state-of-the-art mobile nursing system utilizing GPS and telephony technology.

Ambulatory Care - Provided consulting services to the nation's largest kidney care organization serving over 150,000 dialysis patients at any given time. This $6B publically-traded company was seeking to maximize and enhance its existing revenue cycle systems. The project included much vendor collaboration, product design and customization with an extensive focus on electronic data interchange (EDI).

Government/Public Health - Selected from a competitive field of nationally known healthcare consulting firms by a large metropolitan county government to oversee the acquisition of a new electronic patient records system for their public behavioral health facility, including inpatient hospital, skilled nursing, 78486041.jpgoutpatient clinic and laboratory. This engagement included numerous resources to develop an extensive RFP and subsequent vendor selection process. The total system solution is estimated to cost approximately $2.5M to implement.

Senior Housing and Care - Provided consulting services for numerous senior housing and nursing facilities to review their existing IT infrastructure and information systems, and to make recommendations for improvement.
